ce ne-aduce mosu'? partea 1

am senzatia ca a trecut ceva vreme de cand am scrijelit vreun rand cu nuanta de "my dear diary". s-a mai intamplat cate ceva intre timp. nimic senzational insa - doar involburari de caleidoscop. sa vedem ... e sfarsit de noiembrie. ma apropiu, incet dar din ce in ce mai sigur, de sustinerea de teza.
da, da! nu stiu cum de - eu una voi crede cu adevarat cand ma voi vedea cu o diploma in mana - dar teza pe care o tarasc dupa mine de vreo 4 ani ca pe o bila de puscarias se apropie de final. nu am renuntat. nu m-au dat afara. e unul din misterele inexplicabile ale universului si trebuie acceptat ca atare. iata-ma deci pregatind prezentarea. powerpoint FTW !! de unde si rostul acestei sesiuni de monolog virtual.
tocmai am gasit solutia pentru una dintre hibele sacaitoare ale PPT 2007: imposibilitatea de a lucra cu instante multiple. e nasol de tot cand vrei sa editezi, copiezi, lucrezi pe mai multe monitoare. asa ca m-am gandit sa difuzez si eu aceasta perla de intelepciune apartinand vreunui ilustru necunoscut ( pe care-l pup in frunte cu aceasta ocazie :D )

If you want to edit two PowerPoint presentations side by side you can open them both and choose Windows> Arrange All. If you have a multiple monitor set up it's possible to stretch Powerpoint across the two monitors and then arrange all to have one presentation in each monitor.

The problem is you only get one toolbar and need to flick back and forth between monitors.

Solution

Confuse PowerPoint.

Set up a second user account. It MUST have a password. Start Powerpoint as normal THEN start a second instance as the second user!

How? In the Start menu SHIFT right click the PowerPoint icon and choose "Run As" and enter the details for the other user. You need to have Admin privileges to do this!
